GCSE Use of Mathematics- Correspondence Archive
ACME has written to Ofqual in November 2009, regarding the abandonment of the GCSE Use of Mathematics qualification and its possible replacement by a Higher Certificate in Use of Mathematics. ACME is dissatisfied with this decision and believes that the GCSE Use of Mathematics had the potential to form a key component in a mathematical pathways model for encouraging learners to keep studying mathematics.
