The Committee
How is the ACME Chair chosen?
The Chair of ACME is someone of international standing, normally
a 'user' of mathematics rather than a mathematician, and is
appointed by the Council of the Royal Society. He/She is appointed
usually for a three year term.
How are ACME members chosen?
ACME members
are selected considering the overall balance of the group. They
serve as individuals rather than representatives of any
organisation or interest group.
For information on the current ACME Chair and members
please see their profiles.
